VOLUNTEERING
Woodchurch High School, a Church of England academy, has a fully planned and integrated careers education and work related learning programme.
A number of children choose to undertake some form of volunteering once they have finished full-time study at Woodchurch High School Church of England Academy. The success of the school in terms of promoting volunteering has been recognised by the National Citizenship Service (NCS), who awarded the school ‘Champion Status’ in 2018.
NHS Cadets
Volunteering opportunities with the NHS Cadets. The programme is run by St John Amulance and is held at The Hive in Birkenhead.
