Year 7 pupils meeting with Mr Gardiner from Wirral Council, to experience insight into the brand new role of a Woodchurch High School Travel Ambassador. This role involves actively making our community safer and promoting active travel. Pupils were passionate about sharing their experiences of their School journeys and setting goals of what we can do to make it safer to walk, cycle and wheel to School. Our aspiring Travel Ambassadors will lead the way to achieving their goals by creating their own Active Travel and Road Safety campaign

What is active travel so important? It is beneficial for the environment, your physical health and mental wellbeing. If you would like to access further information about accessing active travel, you can collect a travel plan leaflet (designed by our current Year 10 pupils) from reception or outside of the Year 7 PPL office.
