Fifteen Year 8 girls were specially selected to represent Woodchurch at an event run by the Stemettes Education Network. The event was aimed at inspiring students in a career in STEAM and to develop products for well-being and mindfulness.

At this one-day STEAM and careers-themed event, students networked with industry role models and learnt more about STEAM. The day included a group project where students learnt tech skills that tapped into their creativity, such as extended reality.

The students presented, what they had developed and why they had chosen that particular product, to students from other schools and Bank of America staff. A special mention to Aria, who was chosen as the top student of the day for her presentation skills. All of the students were a remarkable representation of our school’s vision and values.
