What a hot start to the summer it’s been! The farm is in full bloom and looking fantastic with greenery and splashes of colour from all the flowers blooming, and summer fruits ripening.

We’ve had lots of transition visits this half-term from excited Year 6 pupils from our feeder Primary Schools getting to know our animals a little better ahead of joining us as full time Woodchurch pupils in September. One group even enchanted us with a performance of Shakespear’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, using our flower beds as the backdrop to their performance. A memorable experience!

At time of writing we are also in the process of constructing a new greenhouse on the farm. This will give us even more room for horticultural activities and an extended growing season for soft fruits and vegetables.
