DUKE OF EDINBURGH BRONZE EXPEDITION NORTH WALES

This years Year 9 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh group, have successfully completed their expedition in the challenging hot weather in North Wales.

Pupils completed a 21-mile hike over two days, staying overnight. The pupils showed great teamwork to navigate the route and to support each other throughout the assessment. The expedition started by climbing Moel Famau at 554m (1818ft) it is the highest summit in the Clwydian Range and ended at Loggerheads County Park where the pupils enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream.
