Current year 10 students were specially selected to attend this fantastic opportunity to see maths being used in a wide range of contexts and to meet with female maths graduates from academia and industry as well as current undergraduates. Our students also got to take part in exciting, hands-on activities and all of them were a credit to our school, reflecting our christian values and ethos throughout the day. The students really enjoyed the day and were a remarkable reflection of our school community and high expectations. Thriving together, they displayed thankfulness and humility, and allowed their minds to open up to new challenges. They demonstrated the hope, endurance and academic potential to study maths through A Level and beyond, if this is the path they aspire to take in their educational careers.
