On Monday 19th June 2023, 90 pupils attended a ‘’taster event’ at Wirral Met College where they had the opportunity to experience a variety of courses offered by the different college campuses. They were able to experience the courses first hand as they got stuck into some brick laying, motor vehicle engineering, joinery, hospitality and catering and much more.

Pupils were able to select from the following courses to experience on the day: Animal Care Science Media, Photography, Music and Art Health and Social Care Childcare Hospitality and Catering Travel and Tourism Motor Vehicle Engineering Engineering Joinery Plumbing Sports Military Preparation Hair and Beauty Electrical Engineering Plastering Brick Laying Construction Computing Pupils were thoroughly engaged and behaved exceptionally well over the course of the day.

School staff were informed by college staff just how fantastic the Woodchurch pupils were and how they produced work to a high standard. Well done Year 10!
