THE BIG GARDEN BIRD WATCH

Monday 27th January 2020

On Monday 27th January, members of the ECO Committee and representatives participated in the Big Garden Bird Watch. They spent an hour observing and recording all the species of birds that flew over and landed on the farm. The five most popular birds we saw where Goldfinch, Woodpigeons, Black Birds, Robins and Collared Doves. The aims of the annual Bird Watch is to support the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in monitoring the progression/health of our birds and take action to protect any species declining in appearance. Pupils also documented their findings though photography and captured a variety of stunning shots.
