Dear Parents/Carers

As you are already aware, we have worked incredibly hard this year to ensure that our pupils are learning better than ever. A key part of our learning strategy has been to engage pupils with independent learning at home through our Subject Sites.

To support pupils over the break, Subject Leaders have created a Summer Learning Pack. Within it, are manageable tasks which we consider to be essential learning that pupils must have secured from this year (review). There are also key tasks which will prepare them to feel confident from the outset in the year ahead (preview). This concise pack is bespoke to each year group, and contains only one page of detail per subject.

Below, you can download the Year 9 Summer Learning Pack. Pupils should work through the tasks on a subject-by-subject basis, starting with English, Maths, Science and RS e.g. We advise that pupils work through this adopting a ‘little and often’ approach to make it more manageable and successful.

We would please ask for your support in highlighting to your child the importance of this work in helping them to feel reassured and confident, and to secure their academic potential.
